Worcester orthotics
If you are experiencing pain in your feet, ankles, legs, or even back, this may be caused by a biomechanical problem which can be corrected using custom orthotics. Many patients come to our podiatry practice, Premier Foot & Ankle Center, LLC, for Worcester orthotics.
One of our expert podiatrists is Dr. Carol A. Barrette. If you are experiencing foot pain, you will want to visit with her or one of our other expert podiatrists for the highest level of foot care. At our foot care practice we are happy to be able to provide patients with custom orthotics. We are able to perform foot biomechanical examinations which will determine if you are having pain in your body based on having some type of irregular walking gait. If we are providing you with foot orthotics we take a true neutral position plaster foot impression. Our foot orthotics are made to custom fit you and only you, and are biomechanically correct. Our orthotics are also able to be adjusted and repaired in-house. Our patients enjoy the relief they get from our custom orthotics which have a high rate of patient compliance. Foot orthotics are supportive devices that are able to control the motion of a foot. This allows our patients to improve their postural stability, reduce shock impact, and improve weight distribution. Most times the foot orthotics will also improve your biomechanical performance when you walk. Orthotics can actually help to restore comfort and support to feet by bringing the ground surface up to the foot. Worcester orthotics are not able to cure all pains in the foot, but they do help to provide maximum comfort due to improved biomechanics. We like to think that our foot orthotics provide a feeling of comfort such as would be achieved if you were to comfortably stand in sand.
